Hey I'm work day design. I am a freelance graphic designer who is attempting to sell my virtual handmade wares on etsy. Hopefully my shop will get picked up soon and I can rejoice in the splender of success.
I am inspired by simplicity, colour and clean design. The reason for this is probably due to me being so paticular and precise in everything I do. I'm neat, polite and unique and I want my designs to reflect this. Although when I'm designing for someone else I'll design for them... if they want beautiful and messy I will give them that. Its my job regardless of personal style.
I'm a keen photographer, I struggle to take amazing photos but each one encapsulates a memory that is personal to me yet probably doesn't mean much to others who happen to stumble upon the delightfuly bad photography I have taken. I love illustration although I don't want it to be my job and I constantly draw, paint and get messy occassionally. It's relaxing, I create and usually come up with something beautiful that I get to keep to myself. Overall I'm a pretty arty person, my wardrobe is arranged by colour, I draw inspiration from my mood, memories and past experiences and am extending my preciseness to my etsy shop.
I'm usually a bubbly outgoing creature but love times I can just scurry into isolation and think things through, even I like quite now and then... even the sound of the keys on my laptop clacking can provide a useful companion.
I hope some day to live off of my etsy shop. Although I have just begun I have a feeling I'm in it for the long haul and hope others will be willing to put up with me constantly chatting in the forums and virtual labs. I know I'm annoying and need no reminding :) Jokes.
That is about it for the moment. I don't want to make myself more boring than I already am. When needed I will update this page with little updates regarding my cute little etsy storefront, my life in general and how I am tackling my cookie craving habit.
